Hello,
I cannot get the HD-5500 to work with MythTV under Fedora 10.
[root@mythtv v4l-dvb]# dmesg | grep DVB
cx88[0]/2: cx2388x based DVB/ATSC card
DVB: registering new adapter (cx88[0])
DVB: registering frontend 0 (LG Electronics LGDT3303 VSB/QAM Frontend)...
[root@mythtv v4l-dvb]# dmesg | grep 5500
cx88[0]: subsystem: 7063:5500, board: pcHDTV HD5500 HDTV [card=47,autodetected]
cx88[0]/2: subsystem: 7063:5500, board: pcHDTV HD5500 HDTV [card=47]
I cannot get the dtvsignal to make because of this error:
ttusb_dec_reset.c:2:17: error: usb.h: No such file or directory
When I go into Mythtv-setup and setup the card as a DVB:0 and try to scan channels it says there is nothing!
Please help! |

| MythTV will scan for channels, you don't need to use dtvsignal. If there is a /dev/dvb/adapter0 then your card is being seen. |

I have the same issue. what i understand that myth tv will do the scanning automaticly? how is that please be more elaborate.
if you have fixed did please explain how. I cant ge mine to work. |
