Any idea what would cause this...

| I am not sure what causes it but I think that it may have to do with what source you are connected to. Mine fails (like clockwork) upon reaching chan 78. I am hooked up to a DishTV signal sharing line where all the channels are pumped through on chan 109, so this does me no good whatever. |

| I got the same error message too. I eventually got around it by doin g the scan within MythTV software. Look for entries by "waterhead" in the "blocky sound ..." thread in this same forum. He gives some alternate method of finding channels there. |
