I need to set it on the card prior to loading mythtv? It just captures a digital stream of information. Instead, you need to investigate the options on your output video card. If you are talking about the analog portion, then I am afraid I can't help too much. There may be a gain/contrast adjustment, but again, I would investigate your video card options.
