I haven't subscribed to an HDTV source yet, and in our area only 1 station offers OTA HDTV so currently what I am trying to do is the following:
I start from the Motorola DVT2224 digital cable box using the S-video output into the pcHDTV-3000 (along with the audio going into the pcHDTV card) I can watch the video using tvtime but am unable to figure out how to use the S-video input with MythTV ... has anyone else tried getting the S-video viewed under MythTV?
On the other hand, does anyone have any suggestions about how I can make this setup better? (other than the obvious, investing in the HDTV terminal for the cable decoding) |
