I've seen some mention about the error "cx88[0]/2: cx8802_timeout" through the threads, but nothing about a solution.
I've got the drivers installed, but when I run "dtvsignal 10", this error pops up. I can run dtvsignal after unloading a bunch of modules, but that in turn removed /dev/dvb/adapter0/*.
Help!

I blew away the system today. Stock FC5 didn't create /dev/dvb/* (2.6.15?). An upgrade to 2.6.17-1.2174 didn't help.
After the 2.6.17 upgrade, I installed the drivers from here. That created the devices in /dev/dvb, however, the same timeout issue occurs.
I've moved the PCI slot of the card, so I don't think that's it.
Help!

Were you ever able to find a solution? I'm using kernel 2.6.17.11.
