xine-hd cant find /dev/dtv after new kernal upgrade. |

It was working ok with the older Hd-3000 drivers but with the new 2.0 driver and the new linux kernel upgrade
its not finding /dev/dtv also dtvsignal /dev/dtv does not work neither because it also cant find the /dev/dtv |

I don't really know what your problem is without more info. But I know that after rebooting my machine /dev/dtv disappears, but /dev/video32 is still there and it works. I solved the problem by doing:
| Code: | | # ln -s /dev/video32 /dev/dtv |
Then, the dtv tools work as well as xine. Another way to make is work for me was to use the following commands instead of normal ones that utilize /dev/dtv:
| Code: | # dtvsignal /dev/video32 26.1
# xine -C 26.1 dtv:///dev/video32 |

From the pcHDTV-2.0 directory, run 'make udev'. |
