| Any plans for a new PCHDTV card with the LG sixth generation tuner? |

No response after 1 year, I guess the answer is no?
What other cards are worth considering? I suppose a Pci-Express would be nice. |

I'm looking into upgrading my mythtv backend fairly soon and since my new motherboard certainly won't have any PCI slots, my current 5500 won't be of any use and I was hoping for something from pchdtv to replace it.
Please, pcHDTV, if you're listening, please consider offering a PCIe card with the latest ATSC chipset, dual tuner capability and a low form factor (I won't need it but I know people that will.) (ex: HVR-2250)
I would certainly encourage this effort!
Thanks!

I fully support all previous post authors. It is sad to see the absence of interest to this subject from the PCHDTV team.
The HD-5500 is a good card that it has been for a while on the market and has become a quite obsolete. It would be good if the PCHDTV team would announce their near future plans or even better to start a discussion about features of the new generation card.
On my opinion, it would also be interesting to see a universal PCIe DVB-S card that allows demodulating/demuxing a wide variety of the satellite signals. Currently such a card does not present on the USA market. |
