I have two HD-5500 tuners. I have one antenna and a splitter feeding both tuners.
I seem to have issues off-and-on with audio pops/stutters. It seems like this happens more when with recordings than just live tv. I'm not sure if it's something to do with both tuners recording at the same time or what.
Sometime if I stop the recordings or tuner and tune the channel the audio pops go away. Any ideas? Is this a two tuner, one antenna issue?
I have a direct NEW RG6 cable running from the antenna to tuner card. The antenna is in the attic. I am using an old antenna but other than the audio issues when they pop up the antenna works fine.
Are any of you having similar issues or have an ideas? How did you fix it if you did have this issue. Thanks in advance. |

| Hi. Anybody have any ideas on this?I'm still having audio issues where it's jerky or choppy on the second tuner card. Video plays fine, just audio is stuttering. |

Try Muting some of the line inputs from the 2nd card.
Use the alsamixer program to do so.
