Okay,

So, here's my configuration notes for pcHDTV capture cards. Note that my setup is:
AMD Athlon XP processor
MythTV
pcHDTV 2000
pcHDTV 5500
Gentoo Linux (gentoo-sources)
NVidia Graphics c ...
